THE DEVELOPMENT OF ROSSMORE FOREST PARK AMENITY AREA
Public Consultation Day in The Market House Monaghan on Wednesday 15th February 2017 from 3.00pm TO 9.00pm
All roads lead to Monaghan Town on St. Patrick’s Day, Friday 17th March at 3.00 p.m, to celebrate the best of what Monaghan has to offer at the annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade.
Introducing the theme ‘Inclusion – A Monaghan for Everyone’, participants are asked to incorporate this theme into their entry and we look forward to seeing the results at the parade. Prizes will be awarded for Best Commercial Float, Best Community Float, and Best Marching Band. An award will also be given to the best window display incorporating the use of the Irish Language.
This year, we will be presenting a prize of €300 for the most innovative float kindly sponsored by Permanent TSB. The organising Committee would like to encourage as many people from the town and surrounding communities to become involved and participate in this year’s parade. We would encourage Businesses to sponsor/adopt a community group and work together to enter a float. If you are interested in joining the Committee, let us know - new members are always welcome!!
If you are interested in getting involved PLEASE CALL Monaghan Municipal District Office on 047 73777 OR EMAIL firstname.lastname@example.org
